These terms cover your use of the Bookmark mobile app. By using Bookmark, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the app.
Bookmark gathers publicly listed author events — readings, signings, panels and literary festivals — and helps you find ones near you. We are not the organiser of these events, we don't sell tickets, and we aren't affiliated with the publishers, bookshops, venues or festivals listed unless we say so.
Event details come from third parties and can change or be cancelled without notice. We do our best to keep listings current, but we can't guarantee that a date, time, venue or lineup is correct. Always check with the venue or organiser before travelling to an event. Bookmark isn't responsible for wasted journeys, cancelled events or incorrect details.
Don't use Bookmark to break the law, to interfere with the service or its security, or to extract its data in bulk by automated means. Don't attempt to access other people's accounts.
Where a listing links to tickets or an organiser's page, that link goes to a third party with its own terms and privacy practices. Any purchase is between you and them. We don't process payments and take no commission.
The Bookmark name, design and software are ours. Event information, author biographies, book covers and photographs belong to their respective owners and are shown here to help you find events, with attribution and links to the original source. If you own material shown in Bookmark and would like it removed, contact us and we'll take it down.
Bookmark is provided as-is. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we don't promise the service will always be available or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, Bookmark and its operator aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, including losses relating to events you attended or missed.
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll note it in the app. Continuing to use Bookmark after a change means you accept the updated terms.
